People are the key factor

You need to divide the people into different positions, then they will automatically do their work. Note that each person needs a tool to do the job, depending on the position, that person needs a different type of tool. You can use resources to directly craft tools with just one click in “Craft”. You cannot mobilize a person to a certain position if you do not have enough tools that the position requires.
How to increase population?
Low population is one of the biggest challenges in the early stages of Final Outpost: Definitive. With only a few people available in the outpost, you will have a lot of difficulty in both developing and defending. Besides, Final Outpost: Definitive only has two factors that help you increase the number of people in the outpost. One is the immigrants that appear every few days in the game. The other is the factor of birth in the outpost.
Immigrants from other regions
Every few days in the timeline of Final Outpost: Definitive, a group of immigrants will appear at the gates of the outpost. You can click on each one to recruit them into your community. They are a huge source of manpower throughout the game. However, make sure to keep people settled by building more houses and providing them with food. If either of those things are not ensured, many people will leave your community.
Increase birth rate to increase population
Depending on the position, a workforce can work during the day or at night, no position works all day. The workforce in the collection, repair, manufacturing and production increase departments will work during the day. Conversely, during the inactive period, the workforce will enter a state of rest. Although the workforce in the rest state will not perform their tasks, they contribute to the increase in the birth rate – a direct factor in population growth.
While fertility is a fairly stable factor in population growth, the rate of fertility depends on the number of people. This makes fertility only truly effective in the later stages of Final Outpost: Definitive.
Fight and defend against zombies
Zombies are the main enemies of you and the survivors in Final Outpost: Definitive. Zombies only attack at night, and their strength and numbers increase as the game progresses. The first target that zombies will target is the wall surrounding the outpost. If they succeed in destroying any of the walls, the residents inside the outpost will be in danger.
Only those in combat positions can attack zombies. To attack zombies effectively, you need to upgrade your weapons and ensure the amount of ammunition. You can also mobilize more people from other positions if the number of zombies is too large. However, a new person in the defense position will need a short period of preparation before being able to fight.
Upgrade internal skills
This is the only feature that increases the work efficiency of human resources. Final Outpost: Definitive provides 4 skill groups, including:
- Inventory: Increases the carrying capacity of resource collectors.
- Movement: Increases the movement speed of all personnel.
- Wall Repair: Increases the repair speed of walls.
- Defense: Increases the defense power of combat personnel. This group has the most upgrades.
Each upgrade requires a certain number of stars. The higher the upgrade, the more stars you need. The only way to earn stars is to survive the blood moon, when zombie attacks are at their strongest.
