Boris – a lone wolf with a life in a mysterious and dangerous world. That world is wooden rooms covered in endless darkness. Boris survives by searching for lost objects in that world. How you control Boris
Boris the wolf is the main character, and the only character you control throughout Bendy: Lone Wolf. Boris can move when you touch and control the directional stick on the left side of the screen. Stamina, the key to survival
Stamina in Bendy: Lone Wolf is visually illustrated by a vertical bar on the right edge of the screen. Actions such as running, defending, and attacking will all consume stamina. When stamina is depleted, Boris can still defend as usual, but will no longer be able to run and his attack speed will be greatly reduced.

When attacking, Boris will use the weapon in his hand and smash the enemy. The target attacked by Boris can withstand a few hits before being defeated. Some weak monsters cannot attack Boris if hit continuously, stronger monsters can attack even while being hit. Notably, the Ink Demon is the only monster in Bendy: Lone Wolf that Boris cannot attack. Because just a short moment of facing Boris will be swallowed by the Ink Demon.
Defense and survival
The crossbones wolf head icon above the stamina bar is a visual representation of how many times Boris can withstand damage. Exorcist of the Ink Demon, Boris can take up to three hits from monsters, including bosses. You can use the defense button to have Boris bring his weapon out in front of him and block. Successfully blocking an enemy attack will completely avoid the damage from that attack, giving you the advantage to strike back at the enemy.
Note that the defense state only lasts for a short time after pressing the button, after which Boris will return to his normal state and you have to press defense again. Between two defenses there is a very short period where Boris returns to normal state. If an enemy happens to attack you during that period, you will take damage.
The art of horror in audio and visual
Bendy: Lone Wolf has a very special graphic design, although it is a 3D game, every detail in the visual part tries to describe in a hand-drawn cartoon style. The game has a main color scheme of yellow-brown of wood and black of textures and shadows. Bendy: Lone Wolf also applies post-processing border drawing techniques, combined with hand-drawn textures on the models. These factors make the world in Bendy: Lone Wolf extremely mysterious and horrifying.
The perspective design is also a plus point of Bendy: Lone Wolf. The game uses a 3rd person perspective from above, 65 degrees from the Z-axis. The camera distance is relatively close to the character, causing your vision to sometimes be obstructed by the walls.
